Whether you are a seasoned professional or a newcomer to the job market, dealing with job rejection can sting and can be demoralizing. Dealing with job application rejection might be difficult, but here are some coping strategies I have applied over my career:

1. **Allow Yourself to Feel**: It is acceptable to be disappointed or even upset. Allow yourself to feel your emotions.

2. **Request Feedback**: If possible, request feedback from your workplace. This can provide useful information on areas for improvement.

3. **Stay Positive**: Keep a positive attitude. Keep in mind that rejection is a normal part of the job search process and does not define your worth.

4. **Self-Reflection**: Consider your qualifications as well as your interview performance. Consider how you can better in the future.

5. **Continue the Search**: Apply for further openings. Do not let a single rejection prevent you from seeking other opportunities.

6. **Network**: To broaden your opportunities, connect with professionals in your sector, attend networking events, and engage on sites such as LinkedIn. Check my page out for some LinkedIn ideas.

7. **Learn and Grow**: Consider learning new skills or certifications that will help you advance in your career.

8. **Remain Persistent**: Job hunting can be difficult, and rejection is a normal part of the process. Continue to be persistent, and your efforts will be rewarded.

9. **Stay Healthy**: Look for your physical and mental health. Stay resilient through exercising, eating healthy, and practicing self-care.

10. **Seek Help**: If you are having trouble coping with rejection, talk to friends, family, or a career counselor. They can offer advice and encouragement.

Remember that everyone, at some point in their profession, will suffer rejection. It is a learning experience that could lead to further opportunities in the future.
